Missing that Meow? Time to bring home a new kitty for no fee!

No Fee Adoption for Cats 6 months and older has been extended until January 31, 2013!!

With wonderful adoption success that Kent Animal Shelter had with their ‘no fee’ program for adopting cats that are 6 months and older during the holidays, they have decided to extend the program through January 31, 2013! They adopted over 40 cats and still have many available looking for furever homes at their cattery at their no-kill facility in Calverton. All cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chip and vaccinated prior to the adoption so their new owners just have to bring them home and love them!

Potential adopters will still have to fill out Kent’s adoption application for the no fee adoption period, so they are urging people to come sooner rather than later so all paperwork can be processed properly. Kent is open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm making it convenient for people to meet the new kitty of their dreams! Every time a cat or dog is adopted from Kent, 2 lives are being saved - the one that was adopted making room for them to bring rescue another pet to Kent for adoption.
