A missing pregnant woman, who was last seen at her sister’s house on Sunday, is still nowhere to be found today. A manhunt for the missing pregnant woman, Carly Scott, continues in a rural area on the Hawaiian Island of Maui, according to the Boston Herald on Feb 15.

On Wednesday Scott’s dog was found wandering in the community of Nahiku, which is nearby where she was last seen at her sister’s house. It was reported that she did have her dog with her when she was last seen. Later that day her 1997 Toyota 4Runner was found torched in Haiku’s Peahi area.

The search party has come up with “possible evidence,” but police aren’t divulging just what that evidence is. Any leads or clues that law enforcement may have found is something they are not sharing with the public due to the on-going investigation.

Scott is six-months pregnant and police have backed-tracked on how she spent the day before she went missing and found that she spent some time with her ex-boyfriend. The two had dated years ago but remained close and had “hooked up” from time to time. He believes he is the father of her unborn baby.

Steven Capobianco told police that the 27-year-old Scott picked him up and took him to Keanae to work on his truck. He said later she was driving behind him, but he lost track of her car. He said he just figured she made it home safely, that is until police woke him at 5:30 a.m. the next day to ask him if he’s seen Scott, who was reported missing.

Capobianco told the media that police had him take a lie-detector test, which he failed. He maintains he does not know anything about the disappearance of Scott. Capobianco said that it is understandable that he is a suspect in this case, but he knows nothing about her disappearance, he claims.

Scott is described as having red and weighing about 160 pounds. She is about 5-foot-10 inches tall. Police do not have a suspect in this case as of yet.
