Missing person alert Upper Darby

Update: Mrs. Hammock has been located and found safe aboard a SEPTA bus in Philadelphia. A citizen noticed Mrs. Hammock from earlier news coverage.

Upper Darby police are asking for help in finding a missing woman. Geraldine Hammock, 73, who resides on Hilltbehasop Road and Keystone Ave. en missing since Friday. Mrs. Hammock sufferers from dementia. Hammond was reported missing Saturday by her sister with whom she resides.

Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood stated that Mrs. Hammond was last seen walking to Wawa Market on State Road Friday afternoon. Police has searched various areas including parks and SEPTA stations, but have been unable to locate Hammock.

When last seen, Mrs. Hammock was seen wearing a gold jacket with fur trim, dark green pantsuit, black with pink sneakers and a blue and white purse. Mrs. Hammock used to reside in West Philadelphia near 59th and Christian Streets and may have tried to return to her old address.
