After his disappearance, police and friends had assumed that he had returned to Lithuania with his passport.

The mystery ended after a man and his dog walking through Meyrick Park Gold Club found human remains in some bushes. The man contacted authorities who searched the area and found more remains. Authorities found a place in a tree 40 feet up in the branches, where the man had apparently died.

Ironically, another man said he found two bones wrapped in a clear plastic bag in the same area several months ago. He also said he didn’t report the discovery to anyone.

A Lithuanian television program had unsuccessfully appealed for more information about the case. Police don’t suspect foul play, but no one knows how the missing man ended up dead in a tree at a golf course. Read more details about this strange death at the Western Daily Press website.
