Missing LSU student 22-year-old Chris Broussard was found dead in his overturned truck on Wednesday. The 22-year-old LSU student had been missing since Tuesday when he had been last seen at a party at Bogie's Bar, 705 E. Boyd Drive near the LSU campus, said police according to an Aug. 28, 2013, NOLA report.
Around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Chris Broussard had texted a message to his mother Lisa Broussard letting her know that he was leaving a party near LSU and was heading home to Ascension Parish.
However, Chris Broussard never made it home and the news about the missing LSU student prompted a search for any sign of him or of his 2004 Nissan Frontier Kingcab.
Early on Wednesday, a police department helicopter spotted the missing LSU student’s truck which was overturned on LA 30 south of Baton Rouge near the Iberville Parish line. The truck was found heading towards his home in Ascension Parish.
After landing the helicopter, police could confirm that the missing LSU student had been found dead. At this time, no further details about the condition of Chris Broussard have been released.
