Missing Chicago student Pravin Varughese found dead: No foul play suspected

Missing Chicago student Pravin Varughese was found dead Tuesday, according to CBS Chicago on Feb. 18. The Southern Illinois University student had gone missing last Wednesday, and after an intense search authorities indicate he was found not far from SIU.

The last anyone saw of missing Chicago student Pravin Varughese, he had been at a party, then accepted a ride from someone. The two apparently got into an altercation and Varughese is said to have run off into the woods. At this point, authorities believe he likely got lost and froze to death. Foul play is not suspected.

Varughese's last tweet indicated that he had bloody knuckles and had gotten into a fight. The person who had given him a ride, and is believed to be the last person who had seen him alive, did not come forward to authorities about the incident until days after Varughese went missing. Autopsy results are pending, and the investigation into the formerly missing Chicago student Pravin Varughese continues.
