Missing Castroville baby found under a bridge

A missing 10-month-old baby girl from Castroville, Calif. who went missing after her father said he was taking her to Disneyland, was found dead in Monterey County on Tuesday, reports NBC News.

An Amber Alert was issued for Angelle Jenisis Negron when Jesus "Jesse" Vargas Espinoza Jr., 47, did not return with Angelle after several days.

Espinoza called Angelle's mother, Susan Morales on Feb. 6 after having the baby since Feb. 2 and said he was going to Disneyland with Angelle and his other daughter. When they didn't returned, authorities were called on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Espinoza, who is believed to be Angelle's father was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday when the Los Angeles Police Department officers found him at a bus stop.

The Monterey County Sheriff's search and rescue team searched an area of Salinas near Highway 183 near the Davis Street overpass, early Tuesday morning and the sheriff's coroner was seen carrying a small body bag, reports KSBW news.

After Espinoza was booked he told authorities were Angelle was.
