Missing Brooklyn boy found on New York subway after five days

A missing 11-year-old boy from Brooklyn was found safe after five days. According to a video report by GeoBeats, the boy rode the subway in Manhattan almost every night. When he got hungry, he went to Chuck E. Cheese for some pizza. His family, meanwhile, was worried sick, and were posting pictures of him around their neighborhood. Alas the boy was recognized by a woman who was riding the train with him one night.

The woman on the train told an officer who was on the subway platform. He jumped on the train and saw the boy, confirming that it was the missing child from Brooklyn.

Apparently the boy said that he left home to sneak to a friend's house to play video games. Although he did make it to his friends house, he got upset (perhaps after losing) and decided to walk around by himself for a bit. That bit turned into five long days for his family.

The boy says that he's happy to be back home. More on this story in the video above.
