A missing baby was found in a tote bag left at a gas station in Iowa. According to a video from the Associated Press via Yahoo! Canada News on Feb. 7, the six-day-old child is named Kayden Powell.

Law enforcement said that the newborn was found by police at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Kaden, who was swaddled in blankets under frigid temperature conditions near Interstate 80, was found alive and, according to officials, "appears to be doing very well."

The missing baby is now reportedly in the University of Iowa Hospital. Details are scant as to when the little baby will go home however, since the temperatures were so extreme, this newborn was lucky to be alive.

Apparently, at less than a week old, this kid is already a fighter. In fact, the local police chief on the case, Mike Horihan, stated that Kayden "seemed to be healthy, breathing find, conscious, [and] responsive" when she was rescued.

Kayden's aunt, Kristen Smith, is allegedly being held under kidnapping charges as well as a charge that prevents anyone from taking a baby that is not his or her across state lines.

Meanwhile, all's well that end's well as this formerly missing baby from Wisconsin was discovered in Iowa on Friday.
