One of the most confusing things right now is that of the Miss Uzbekistan mystery that is currently ongoing. The Inquisitr reported on Sept. 14, 2013, that 18-year-old Rakhima Ganieva is involved in the upcoming Miss World pageant as Miss Uzbekistant, but the truth is that the country doesn't even have a representative for that pageant.
The predominately Muslim country doesn't even run a Miss World competition so they wouldn't have a representative in the pageant. The Uzbekistan National Committee on Woman and Uzbek Cultural and Sports Ministry don't even know who the woman is.
With that being said, Ganieva claims to be the representative for her country and is going to be in the Miss World final in Indonesia in late September.
Ganieva states that once the pageant is over, she wishes to continue her studies and become a lawyer.
Making the Miss Uzbekistan mystery even weirder is that the attending school that she put on her resume? Well, she isn't even going to that school.
Ganieva is from Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital, and is indeed competing in the Miss World pageant. She is even shown on the official website proclaiming, I really want to win."
The self-proclaimed Miss Uzbekistan trained at the Tashkent based Pro Models agency when she was younger. A rep for the agency spoke up about the Miss Uzbekistan mystery.
“If there had been a process to choose a young lady for this competition, I can assure you that a much more beautiful model would have been chosen. I’m sorry that Ganieva is choosing to build a career on lies," said Zhavlon Momolov.
