Miss Universe Olivia Culpo talks about what she wants in a man (Video)

According to the New York Post on Jan. 12, Olivia Culpo, the beautiful Miss Universe from Cranston, R.I., recently spoke about the qualities she wants in a man.

“I’m looking for someone who is funny, because I have a very serious job and it’s nice to just let loose,” she told us at Trump Tower. “Tall, dark and handsome doesn’t hurt. He has to be smart, but, most important, he has to have a nice, genuine personality.”

What is her idea of a great place to go on a date? “Places I've never been to.”

So does the 20-year-old dark-haired beauty think she’s approachable? Yes, she does. As she puts it, “unless I’m all blinged out with the crown and the sash. That’s a little overboard.”

Olivia Culpo was the first American to win the Miss Universe title in 15 years. She was raised in a musical family and the Boston University student is prone to refer to herself as a “cellist-nerd.” Olivia has made the Dean’s List at BU every quarter; however, she will put a hold on her education for one year so she can perform the duties of Miss Universe.

During her reign as Miss Universe, Olivia will serve as a spokesperson for breast and ovarian cancer and will work closely with organizations like Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Gilda’s Club. She will also work with the USO as part of the Miss Universe Organization’s dedication to supporting our troops.

On Olivia’s page on the Miss Universe web site, you can find her favorite self-quote, the way she hopes to live her life: “Beauty is found in the way you treat others.”
