Miss USA Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe 2012 Wednesday night, but not before stripping down to a bikini and strutting down the runway in front of the entire world.
Howard Stern Show pals Pat Monahan, Jimmy Stafford and Scott Underwood from the band Train were there to serenade her and the other top ten finalists in the evening gown competition. Andy Cohen, who appeared on the Howard Stern Show in May 2012, co-hosted the event with Giuliana Rancic.
Culpo beat out 88 other women from around the world for the Miss Universe title, and will win a bevy of prizes and a boatload of publicity during her year long "reign". Miss Universe big cheese Donald Trump was on hand to congratulate Culpo personally, after opening Wednesday night's broadcast dressed as Santa Claus.
Culpo is the first Miss USA to win the Miss Universe title since Hawaii native Brook Lee won the title in 1997.
