Miss Mia needs a home (Photos)

Mia is a young cat who was thrown from a car in July 2012. A good samaritan picked her up, took her to the emergency veterinarian and paid her bills. Mia then went to live with a wonderful foster family, where she healed from her wounds, was spayed and received her immunizations, and learned to trust humans again. That good samaritan had hoped that Mia might get along with her cat, so she could keep her, but over the past few months, they just don't seem to want to cooperate. They get into fights, and she is afraid they will actually injure each other. Mia is feisty, though, so she will need special, experienced cat home. She is affectionate, but on her terms. She does not like to be held, and will not allow nail clipping, so that has to be done at a veterinarian or groomer. If she is not comfortable with something, unfortunately, she will bite. Therefore, no one with small children would be a candidate for her new family. True cat-lovers only.

Would you please help us find Mia a good home? She has been through enough in her short life, and deserves a loving home.
