There’s been a lot to celebrate for popular media personality, Miss Kitty on and off the air since the start of 2013: A noticeable weight loss met with rave reviews, becoming the first female host on New York’s Link Up Radio and returning as judge on the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall.
On March 19, the ‘Fluffy Diva’ will bask in her proverbial glory as she will be hosting a birthday bash at the Fiction Lounge on Constant Spring Rd. And her typically spontaneous fashion, Miss Kitty promises lots of excitement.
Announcing the decision on her Facebook page Thursday night, she told her fans, “After many requests from my loving and loyal fans, I've decided to keep my birthday party!!!!On March 19 all roads lead to Fiction Night Club at 11pm! It ago craaawb up cause di sponsor dem tun up!Lots of prizes and surprises. Fluffy Diva style! lalalalalalalalalala!”
This party follows up a successful party kept last March at Danny’s Marina in Harbour View, St. Catherine, where she and Magnum had been staging their bi-monthly Magnum Marina Sundays party series since May 2011. The birthday event, dubbed White Glamour saw much of the Jamaican entertainment scene come out to support including Shaggy, Spice, Ishawna and her Magnum Kings and Queens colleagues, including Yanique Barrett and Professor Nuts.
She notably arrived to the party in a helicopter before being driven to the crowd in a white BMW.
This year’s party is being sponsored by Fiction Lounge, Digicel, Biolife Energy Systems, LinkUp Media Group of Companies and JAMROCK Magazine. Patrons will pay JA$1,000 to enter.
