Miss Hawaii 2010 Jalee Fuselier is engaged to be married, she announced Monday on her blog.
She posted a video in which she accepts the proposal of marriage from Mark Palompo. (See video at left)
“I am so completely blessed to have Mark in my life to keep me grounded and remind me of what matters most in life,” she wrote on her blog.
“We are thankful to the family and friends who have been there to support us in this journey and are thrilled to see what God has in store for our future together!”
She did not announce a wedding date.
Jalee serves as Miss Hawaii until June 4, when she crowns a successor. The pageant will be televised live in Hawaii on OC16.
Jalee was Miss North Shore when she was crowned Miss Hawaii last year.
Her pageant platform was, “Ready for the World.”
A vocalist, she sang “Get Happy” as her talent.
She represented Hawaii at January’s Miss America 2011 pageant in Las Vegas.
Jalee was named a preliminary winner in the swimsuit competition.
