Kayla Collier was named Miss Florida Teen USA in November. She represented her state at the Miss Teen USA pageant July 30-31 in the Bahamas.

Kayla, 18, is a skin cancer survivor who volunteers to educate people about the disease.

A resident of Pahoke, Florida, she plans to go into publishing.
