Judging in all categories and crowning of Miss District of Columbia 2011 is on tap for Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Arena Stage.
Miss District of Columbia 2010 Stephanie Williams ends her one-year reign, when she spoke on the topic, “A Dose of Prevention: Smart Medicine For What Ails America.”
Her platform for health care also resulted in her making a trip to India for a first-hand look and medicine there.

Winner of the pageant will represent the District of Columbia at the Miss America 2012 pageant, next January in Las Vegas.
Most of her time, however, will be devoted to advocating her own personal platform and helping causes supported by the Miss America Organization and the Miss DC pageant.
