ABC's "Good Morning America" television program will feature sneak peeks of the Miss America Pageant on three days this week, the pageant organization announced Sunday.
Pageant judges Sam Champion and Lara Spencer will show behind-the-scenes footage of the competition on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
There are 53 Miss America contestants. The pageant formally gets under way on Jan. 8 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Final competition is Jan. 12. The final night will be broadcast live on ABC at 9 p.m. ET.
Champion is the weather anchor for “Good Morning America” and also serves as weather editor for ABC News.
In addition to covering the national forecast, Sam travels for weather-related stories around the country and the globe.
He also brings tips and information on how to be environmentally efficient to his regular “Just One Thing” reports.
Sam also hosts “Sea Rescue,” a weekly series broadcast nationally on Saturday mornings.
