It was reported on Jan 23, 2013 that Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb, will now appear on 'Celebrity Diving', ABC's new show.
Webb's boyfriend, the quarterback the University of Alabama, AJ McCarron approved of her participation in the show.
Though initially reluctant, the model initially who even changed her phone number, signed on to the show after her boyfriend's approval.
The reality program includes other participants such as NFL star Ndamukong Suh, former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, actress Nicole Eggert, comedian Louie Anderson, musician Drake Bell, E! TV personality Chuy, and actress Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Webb shot for a cover of Sports Illustrated and had a meeting with beauty pageant owner Donald Trump.
There were rumors that Katherine Webb may also appear on upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" but she denied the rumor on her Twitter account that she is definitely not moving to NY and not doing the show.
The brunette came to fame after the cameras of ESPN panned to her during the University of Alabama's victory celebrations.
