A lineup of Mirrodin Besieged posters promoting the upcoming Mirran vs. Phyrexian battle for Mirrodin has been released, and will likely be getting some facetime at your local Mirrodin Besieged prerelease and release events as players side with their faction of choice. Unveiled over at ManaNation, this 10 poster collection gives us a tantalizing taste of things to come.
The more interesting bits and pieces of these posters include some exciting new flavor text, some lore hints, and the fact that Phyrexia definitely seems to be spilling over into the Mirran affiliated red and white for Mirrodin Besieged.
Argent Sphinx, Indomitable Archangel, and Skinrender are all recycled art from Scars of Mirrodin here, but the rest are new faces, placing our faceless friends we saw in the Phyrexian promo video solidly in white, and with the knowledge that there is a white/green Phyrexian Intro Pack, it looks like not even the purest of colors is safe from the spreading infection.
Of particular interest is the green Mirran offering, which appears to imply that Thrun, the last troll, may be making an appearance in Mirrodin Besieged. You can check out each of the Mirrodin Besieged posters in the accompanying slideshow.
