Miranda Lambert may be the hottest female in country music right now, and despite rumors of an impending divorce from Blake Shelton, she has once again been nominated for a Grammy. “Mama’s Broken Heart”, Lambert’s platinum selling number one single, was nominated in the “Best Country Solo Performance" category.
Lambert dished about her Grammy nomination to Nashville Love on Dec. 28, and the country music singer and wife of red hot Blake Shelton is “thrilled to have a Grammy nomination with such a great song.” Lambert’s first Grammy came in 2010 for her hit single “The House That Built Me.”
Miranda Lambert said she is proud to be nominated in the same category with her husband. Blake Shelton has been nominated in the “Best Country Solo Performance” category for “Mine Would Be You” which was written by Deric Ruttan. Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” was co-written by CMA award winner Kacey Musgraves.
