Miranda Lambert shares tips for making marriage work

Country music star Miranda Lambert hasn't been married two years yet, but she still has some tips for making marriage work. In a report dated Feb. 7 from The Boot, Miranda Lambert shares some of her secrets for making her marriage with Blake Shelton, another country music star, work.

Miranda Lambert believes in communicating with Blake Shelton. When she can't call him, Miranda Lambert will “keep up the texting.” She also knows to keep the conversation short if Blake Shelton has been drinking, one of his favorite past times.

“I can look at them and tell they are in love,” Amber Logan, from Oklahoma City, said. “They remind me of Tim [McGraw] and Faith [Hill]. You can see the love in their eyes.”

The country music star also makes time for Blake Shelton at least once a week. Blake Shelton admitted that if he isn't home, Miranda Lambert will “come out and find me on the road.” Seeing their first year of marriage was spent with Miranda Lambert on tour and Blake Shelton working on “The Voice,” making time for each other every week must have been a challenge.

Marriage is difficult and the celebrity status of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton can't make it easier on the couple. Despite that, it appears they love each other and are willing to work at making their marriage work. Although there is never a “secret” that works for every couple, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton appear to have found a few tricks that makes their marriage work.
