Miranda Lambert had quite a busy Valentine’s Day weekend, but it wasn’t because of a romantic getaway with hubby, Blake Shelton. Instead, on February 15–according to Miranda’s Twitter–she spent the day with lots of furry friends.

On Saturday, Miranda Lambert’s Oklahoma store The Pink Pistol was the site of a pet adoption center. Throughout the day, Miranda Lambert posted pictures to Twitter as good homes were found for 11 dogs. Among the people adopting were several adorable children, already seen hugging, kissing and cuddling their new four-legged friends.

Anyone who has followed Miranda Lambert knows of her love for animals. At the end of the day, a joyful Miranda tweeted:

Sorry for spamming with my photos all day! Just makes me so happy to get these shelter dogs good homes! 11 matches made today in Tishomingo!

In addition to finding homes for these 11 dogs, Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation supports organizations that rehabilitate sick animals, train guide dogs, build animal shelters and help abused, neglected and unwanted pets. Miranda is so passionate about finding lifelong homes for neglected animals that she even inked her passion onto her foot a few years ago.

Anyone who would like to follow in Miranda Lambert’s footsteps and support MuttNation can do so at MuttNation on Facebook.
