Miranda Lambert isn't letting Chris Brown off the hook after the assault on Rihanna and his subsequent performance on the Grammys. It’s been over a year but the country star once again is bringing up the message the situation sends to young women around the world. Sharing her distaste for the entertainer, Lambert has some pretty strong words about the situation in the February Redbook. On Tuesday, the sneak peek of Redbook reveals the country singer stands by her previous remarks. It appears she is keeping a watchful eye on the entertainer and the feud she had after speaking her mind about the situation hasn't gone away.
“The loudmouth that I am, I say what I think. I wanted everyone to know that I don’t agree with the message it’s sending to young women,” said Miranda Lambert sharing her thoughts in Redbook. “It’s not okay. At all. To be celebrated after doing something like that. I don’t think it’s right, I never will, and I will stand by what I said till the day that I die.”
Chris Brown and Rihanna have made it obvious that they don’t care what anyone thinks. Seen over the Christmas holiday together and making time for a Los Angeles Lakers game so they could be publicly photographed, it appears time has healed all the issues between them.
