Miranda Lambert is the latest addition to the upcoming tribute to 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year and esteemed songwriter Carole King. The event is set to take place Friday, Jan. 24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Leann Rimes, Zac Brown, Kacey Musgraves and Stuart Duncan have also been enlisted to perform in honoring the living legend.

They join a slew of previously announced performers: Jennifer Nettles, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, Steven Tyler, Sara Bareilles, Merry Clayton, Jakob Dylan, Gloria Estefan, Lisa Fischer, Louise Goffin, Judith Hill, Jesse & Joy, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Darlene Love, Leah McFall, Miguel, Jason Mraz, Pink, James Taylor, Train, and will.i.am.

MusiCares stands as an organization to give assistance to cover financial, medial and personal emergencies to music people. Each case is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. Also, MusiCares strives to shed light on human service issues and how they impact health in the music industry.
