Miranda Lambert is the bad guy when it comes to time with husband Blake Shelton

They are a dynamic couple in country music. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been married for almost two years and with their busy schedules, they have to find some quality time for each other. According to People on Jan. 8, Lambert is on the cover of the February issue of Redbook and reveals that she is extremely protective of their private moments they have together.

The 29-year-old singer will be heading out with country crooner Dierks Bentley on their 2013 Locked & Reloaded tour this month, while Shelton has been busy with his reality singing show, “The Voice.” Between the two hectic schedules, the high-profile couple will have to sneak in some quality time together. When they happen to snag those moments, the “House That Built Me” singer says she becomes quite protective.

"He's the sweetest guy. Like, he will talk to anyone, sign anything, take a picture with everyone. And if I don't stop it at some point, it ruins our whole night," she said. "I have to be the bad guy. The people are like 'Oh, God, don't mess with her ...' "

You certainly can’t blame her. She is married to one of the most well-known country artists around and he is cute to boot! Lambert revealed in a previous issue of People in October that they have a limit of two weeks without seeing each other. That seems like a good rule to live by. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert seem to be very much in love and will do what it takes to make their marriage work for the long haul.
