Miranda Lambert is ready to take her husband down on “The Voice” by becoming a member of Team Shakira as a mentor. Lambert is helping out the only female coach on “The Voice” by joining in on rehearsals for Team Shakira members by getting them ready for the first night of the battle rounds on NBC’s “The Voice” according to Country Weekly on March 17, 2014.

Lambert discussed going up against her husband Blake Shelton by saying “You know, I always tease him anyway ’cause every time he sings with Shakira or, like, where's he's around her, he starts sweating” adding “I’m like, ‘Now, you’ve got me and Shakira. You’d better sweat when I’m around now!”

Team Blake was not up against Lambert and Shakira alone going into the first night of the battle rounds. Shelton invited The Band Perry to join his team as mentors for his team members. Usher brought Jill Scott on board as mentor for Team Usher and Adam Levine was joined by Aloe Blacc as the mentor for Team Adam.

Lambert let everyone know that she is in it to win it with Team Shakira by posting “Watching @NBCTheVoice! So excited to help out #TeamShakira! Girl power!!! Still love you @blakeshelton :)” on Twitter. The battle rounds continue with night two happening March 18, 2014 on NBC.
