Miranda Lambert is not thrilled about Chris Brown and his Grammy performances. In fact, she went to Twitter to talk about something that she considers a real problem.
Blake Shelton's wife tweeted earlier this week:
"Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..Not cool that we act like that didn't happen"
And then, later, she made a passing attempt at backing down a bit on her take on the Chris Brown Grammy appearances. Again, she went to the micro-blogging site, saying:
"As for my tweets, it's just one clown's opinion. I love music and that's what it's all about"
So why should this country star be so outspoken now about something that happened three years ago between Brown and Rihanna, causing the two to be no-shows at the annual music awards show?
Perhaps Miranda Lambert felt she needed to speak out because her parents were in charge of an abused women's shelter when she was a kid. And she has sung about this sort of situation, being on the side of a woman who has been physically harmed by a man.
As for Chris Brown on this subject, well he didn't talk back to Miranda Lambert on Twitter, per se. He did put out a Tweet on Thursday that said:
"I think you, amongst others, are definitely delusional but [you are] entitled to your opinion!"
But, with that said, it appears he was not speaking to the country star, but rather to someone else. Meanwhile, Breezy was thrilled about his Grammy 2012 and made sure to share with his more than 8 million Twitter fans. He wote:
"TeamBreezy, the Grammy I received was for those of you who supported my music and the hard work and growth in my life. I thank you! Love [you]!"
And so, as the world turns, both Miranda Lambert and Chris Brown are happy to have been at the Grammy Awards 2012, each for his and her own reasons as well as for a common one: Music.
