Miranda Lambert put on daisy dukes for her "Rolling Stone" photo shoot, and one of the photos landed on the cover of the magazine. The country singer is not afraid to show off her new slim figure to the world. She is currently promoting her new album. "Platinum" was released on Tuesday, and she sat down with "Rolling Stone" for an interview to talk about her music, her life, and her marriage to Blake Shelton. The Christian Post shared Miranda's "Rolling Stone" cover and some of her interview on June 4. The issue will hit stores on Friday.
Miranda Lambert is a country singer, and she has managed to find the secret to her own weight loss. At 5-foot-4, she is short. She revealed in the interview that when she gains weight, the weight goes everywhere, but the same is true of when she loses it. She loses it everywhere. Being short certainly doesn't help when it comes to weight. There is nowhere for the weight to spread to. It just piles on more pounds and size.
How did Miranda lose her right? She has learned portion control. She didn't give up any of her favorite foods. She just learned to eat smaller portions. Instead of eating like she normally would, she cut her portions in half. She is also working with a trainer. She said the following about her workout routine: "We do cardio, a lot of circuit training. We do things with my body weight, like lunges. A lot of stuff with [resistance] bands. The stuff nobody loves, but it works!"
Miranda has been in the news a great deal in recent years because of her marriage to country singer Blake Shelton. He is also a mentor on "The Voice" on NBC, and Miranda has appeared on the series to help him work with new singers. The couple married in 2011. Since their marriage, rumors of trouble in their relationship have surfaced more than once.
Miranda is able to joke about the fact that the she has been pregnant for the last two and a half years, according to the press. It is clear she isn't pregnant when she look at her in the short shorts on the "Rolling Stone" cover. She said the following about the rumors surrounding her relationship: "One day we were country singers, and the next we're on the front of the tabloids. I'm, like, really magical. I've been pregnant for two and a half years."
It isn't clear why the couple is under such scrutiny. Blake and Miranda are two of the biggest names in country music, and Blake is popular on "The Voice" as well. However, popularity does not always lead to such false scandals surrounding someone. Miranda did speak out about the rumors and those behind them in the press in a new interview. According to The Miami Herald, the singer revealed that she has learned that "people are very, very mean."
At the age of 30, Miranda is still at the beginning of her career and her life with Blake Shelton. She has learned some valuable lessons about the world and her own body in recent years. She has taken what she has learned and poured all of it into her new album. Experience does tend to help when it comes to music.
