Miranda Lambert isn't just known for singing. She's also known for her sense of style. The country singer became one of the special guest judge for the reality competition show, "Project Runway." She talked with CMT on Jan. 8 about her experience.
Lambert says that she was "inspired" by the fashion designers. She was amazed by the designs that came down the runway. She found the designs inspirational for her own collection. Miranda said that whatever's in fashion in NYC may not be in fashion in Oklahoma, but it's derivative of that style.
Miranda recently launched the Pink Pistol store in Oklahoma. She said that she wanted to open it in her hometown of Tishomingo. She revealed that she's even more interested in fashion now that she's been a guest judge.
It seems like Miranda Lambert inspired the designers as well. They had to create a design that fit the singer's sassy Southern attitude. This took most of the designers out of their comfort zone. The new season of "Project Runway" premieres on Jan. 24 on the Lifetime network. Check your local listings for details.
