Miracle caught on tape during rally crash

During a very intense rally car crash, a miracle was caught on tape as a tree saved a man's life. The rally car came flying around the corner and took the turn too tight, resulting in the passenger side of the vehicle being lifted and forcing the racer into a roll. Spinning out of control, the vehicle is headed straight towards a rally official hiding behind a tree. The car slams into the tree, just missing the lucky fellow by inches. Had the tree not been there, or had the official not had the common sense to hide behind the tree, this would be a total disaster. The end result of this crazy rally footage is a miracle caught on tape, believe it or not!

Rally racing is one of the most deadly forms of racing known to man. There is nothing safe about driving down a wooded path at breakneck speeds above 100 miles per hour. The average rally car traverses corners between 35 and 60 miles per hour, pushing the car to the handling limit as drifting is induced. To properly take a corner at these speeds, the driver must prepare the vehicle to enter the corner correctly. If the timing or adjusted trajectory is off by even the slightest amount, disaster can and will occur as seen. Driving a rally car is very dangerous, but standing on the side lines is even worse!

When spectators enter a rally, they know ahead of time the danger that lurks. There is no adequate guard rails, fences, or other safety equipment aside from the horn man who alerts everyone a car is approaching. It's totally up to the spectators to choose the safest position to view the race. Both the driver and fan get an adrenaline rush from attending rally races, and thus the attraction to the deadly sport. The fans and spectators are at most danger, at least the drivers have a car with crash cage to protect them.
