Miracle cat survives arrow shot through head, authorities search for shooter

A one-year-old cat named "Mack," somehow survived being shot with an arrow in the head.

Now, the Susquehanna, Pa. Regional Police are searching for whoever is responsible for the dastardly deed.

According to Wednesday's Fox 43 News, the shooting took place back on Dec. 22 in Conoy Township, Lancaster County.

Mack's owners found their cat and were able to rush him to the Pet Emergency Treatment Services clinic for treatment. Somehow, though the arrow pierced his entire skull, it miraculously missed his brain.

The cat is expected to make a full recovery, though he will likelyl suffer from sinus problems thanks to the damage inflicted by the arrow.

A witness reported seeing an unfamiliar person on the property around the time that Mack was discovered, that that individual has not been tracked down.

Authorities are hoping to find the person responsible for this abusive act. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 717-426-1158 or Crime Stoppers at 800-322-1913
