Guests at Mirabelle Restaurant on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood enjoyed themselves for a good cause Thursday evening, November 10 into the early morning hours Friday.
Legendary Mirabelle celebrated its 40th anniversary and hosted a fundraising event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Los Angeles-based public relations agency Eileen Koch provided media outreach for the event.
Highlights of the evening included a red carpet entrance, special guest performance by Calloway. Fresh shrimp, oysters, and crab was among the fare and the upstairs balcony provided a stunning nighttime view over the LA basin.
Make-A-Wish will invest from $ 1, 500 to $5,000 to grant a child’s wish. The LA chapter is one of the busiest in the United States with children needing care coming from around the country for treatment in Los Angeles.
One of the most popular wishes is meeting LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant.
The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
