Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf's ‘Stage Fright’ red band trailer

A while back one of the films on our radar was the anti Glee musical slasher Stage Fright. Starring Minnie Driver, Meat Loaf, Allie MacDonald, Douglas Smith, and Brandon Uranowitz the latest film from Jerome Sable looks like a blood filled blast.

Starry-eyed teenager Camilla Swanson wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Broadway diva, but she's stuck working in the kitchen of a snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase and lands a lead role in the play, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla soon finds herself terrified by the horror of musical theatre.

Stage Fright is debuting this upcoming Monday March 10th at the SXSW Festival. The rest of us will get a chance to see it on Itunes and on demand April 3rd followed closely in limited theaters May 9th, 2014. The movie looks hilarious and they have a special poster created for pop culture website Ain’t It Cool News. We have it for you here to see along with the red band trailer.
