Minnesota witness photographs silent object

A Minnesota witness reports watching and photographing an unusual, silent object in the sky that moved horizontally, "paused for about three minutes," and then continued moving across the sky, according to July 18, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"I was out on my balcony getting ready to take pictures of an approaching thunderstorm when I saw this in the sky," the witness stated.

The witness described how the object moved.

"It was moving slowly horizontally, paused for about three minutes or so, and continued. It made no noise and had no noticeable flashing lights like that of an airplane or any suggestion of flapping like a bird."

The witness also reports watching "multiple orbs of light" in the sky as a thunderstorm approached, but assumed they were "ball lightning."

The witness provided one image with the report - Image # 1. No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on July 18, 2011. The incident occurred on June 14, 2011.

MN, June 14, 2011 - Strange something over city. MUFON Case # 30250.

I was out on my balcony getting ready to take pictures of an approaching thunderstorm when I saw this in the sky ( see picture) it was moving slowly horizontally paused for about 3 minutes or so and continued. It made no noise and had no noticeable flashing lights like that of an airplane or any suggestion of flapping like a bird. I felt calm, I wanted to shout for my boyfriend to come and look but I was afraid it would be gone or he would think im silly, so i took a picture. I also saw multiple orbs of light but because of the coming thunderstorm i took them for ball lightning.
