2013 Statistics: 15 games, 15 starts

Career Statistics: 120 games, 101 starts

Outlook: Johnson has had a roller coaster three seasons with the Vikings. That could make him one of the more intriguing free agents.

He played a big part in Adrian Peterson’s run in 2012, but regressed - along with the entire offensive line - in 2013. The entire group was the best in the league one season, but were mediocre last season.

The Vikings need to determine whether or not Jeff Baca can start 16 games in his second season in the NFL. He was a sixth round draft pick last April and was inactive in 12 games last season.

There are some quality players scheduled to become a free agent, but there isn’t a guy that everyone is going to want. No one that will set the standard.

Johnson may be the best free agent on the market. The Vikings may be wise to re-sign him and force Baca to beat him out.
