Maya Moore was unstoppable as she scored 23 points, hitting three 3 pointers in the first half that got the Lynx rolling. Her teammates Monica Wright, who scored 20 points, and Seimone Augustus, who scored 19 points, also provided a nightmare for the Dream. The Lynx seemed to score wherever they wanted to on the court.
At one point in the fourth quarter, it seemed like every rebound fell into the Lynx hands and they just ruled the Dream the entire game.
Angel McCoughtry was the only spark and tried to keep the Dream alive but just didn't have the offensive help that she needed to accomplish that task, even though Aneika Henry scored 14 points. The Dream was also lacking in the defense area giving up points inside and from outside.
Now that the game one defeat is behind them now, the Dream are going to need a lot more scoring from other players other than McCoughtry and Henry. They will also need better defense to try to control Maya Moore and Monica Wright from dominating them as they did in the first game.
