High School: Mentor
Hometown: Mentor, Ohio
Position: Wide Receiver
My Assessment: He played both quarterback and wide receiver in high school. He has very good acceleration and vision in space. He can find the hole and exploit it. He is a good route runner that can lose defensive backs with double moves. He catches the ball with both his hands and body. He is uses both techniques at the appropriate time.
Gophersports.com Overview: Received three-star status from ESPN, Rivals and Scout and two stars from 247Sports - ESPN lists him as the No. 83 player in Ohio and as the No. 192 wide receiver in his class - Scout tabs him as the 135th wide receiver in the nation and 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 108 player in Ohio.
ESPN Analysis: Good ability to control his body and find a way to get open - uses head and technique to get open - catches the ball away from his body with his hands and in a very relaxed and confident manner - knows what to do with it as he can maneuver in the open field easily - will compete and make plays because of his work ethic and attitude.
