My Assessment: In limited viewing, he showed off his blocking skills. He is a finesse blocker that can get out in space and clear a path. He is not going to knock a defender on his back, but can get in the way.
Overview: Enrolled at Minnesota in January 2014 - will participate in spring practice - will have two years of playing eligibility left at Minnesota.
Previous School: Attended Butler County Community College - team was 11-1 during his freshman season - rushed eight times and scored four touchdowns - caught two passes, one of which was for a touchdown - blocked for an offense that rushed for 1,908 yards and passed for 2,324 yards.
High School: A graduate of Downs-Lakeside High School - helped lead team to an 11-1 record - played eight-man football in high school - scored 40 total touchdowns as a senior, while rushing for 1,760 yards and 30 touchdowns on 166 carries - recorded 96 tackles, five sacks, three interceptions and two forced fumbles as he was named KPreps.com’s Eight-Man, Division I Defensive Player of the Year - won state powerlifting championship as a senior weighing 198 pounds when he benched 285 pounds, cleaned 300 and had a 495-pound squat.
