Minneapolis ranked in at number 13 ahead of Detroit (18) for the Midwest region and five positions behind Chicago.

The top paying position is Social Media Marketing Manager, followed by Social media Strategist, Public Relations Brand Manager, Online Community Manager, Social Media Specialist and finally Blogger/Social Media Copywriter.

How much is the salary range for a Social Media Marketing Manager? In this role you can earn you a six figure income in New York or California that ranges from as low as 73k to as much as 116k a year. A Social Media Strategist can be a profitable venture too with a salary of 55k to 103k depending on the company and city you live in. Nevertheless, a Public Relations Manager (PR) in branding can goes from 49k to 90k.
