University of Minnesota wrestling edged Iowa, 16-15, and Oklahoma State defeated Illinois, 19-15, in the semifinals of the 2012 National Duals Championships at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla. Sunday afternoon.
Minnesota, the No. 3 seed in this championship round, got revenge on the second-seeded Iowa squad that had defeated them 19-17 on Jan. 29. Oklahoma State was the top seed; Illinois was seeded fourth.
The Golden Gophers will face the Cowboys in the finals Sunday evening to determine the 2012 Mat Mayhem National Duals Division I champion.
