MiniLuxe and Magic 106.7 radio personality Candy O’Terry are taking action in support of the Friends of Mel Foundation. From February 3 – February 8, get any nail service (manicure, pedicure, etc.) using the specially named “Candy O” fuchsia-colored nail polish and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Friends of Mel Foundation, designed to help those who have been affected by cancer.
To kick off the effort, Candy O will meet fans on Saturday, February 2nd from 2pm – 4pm at the MiniLuxe Hingham location in the Derby Street Shoppes. It will be a fun afternoon of manicures, pedicures, waxing along with light refreshments for all in attendance. O’Terry along with MiniLuxe CEO, Sue Thirlwall will be on hand to meet clients, talk about the promotion and join in the fun by getting their own “Candy O ” mani / pedis.
“We are so excited to be working with Candy to support the good work of the Friends of Mel Foundation,” says Thirlwall. “Everyone deserves miniluxuries in their life – and it’s even better when they go towards giving support to caretakers and family-members affected by cancer.”
On the next day, Sunday February 3rd, the “Candy O” promotion will be available MiniLuxe-wide with customers invited to come in and get their Candy O manicures and pedicures or to purchase a bottle of “Candy O” polish…all to benefit Friends of Mel. During this week, ending February 8th, the “Candy O” promotion will be available at all MiniLuxe locations, including Boston, Hingham, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Hingham, Lexington, Newton Centre and Wellesley.
