Looking for a cute and easy snack you can literally toss together? These Mini Snowball Snacks are a great treat to make for the kids as an after school snack, as treats for their holiday parties, or to give as gifts. Adults love this snack too! The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is perfect.

Mini Snowball Snacks

  • 8 cups cocoa flavored puff cereal
  • 1 10 oz package of peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 TBSP light corn syrup
  • 3 cups confectioners sugar, sifted

Start by putting the cereal in a large bowl. Then melt the peanut butter chips, butter and light corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Stir constantly over low heat until chips are melted. Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. Divide the confectioners sugar between two 1-gallon size zipper bags. Add half of cereal mixture to each bag. Seal the bag and toss until cereal is evenly coated with sugar. Spread out onto waxed paper to cool. Store in resealable bag or airtight container.
