Getty Images is good for many things. Today, for example, they were good for shooting superstar gymnasts at a glitterati event: New York City's Fashion Week.
Olympic champion Nastia Liukin showed up for her fashion fix looking very fall in a textured scoop neck gray and black dress that fell just above the knee. She accessorized with open toe black heels, a dazzling chunky silver necklace and black nail/toe polish.
Liukin wore this ensemble to the BCBG Max Azria 2011 spring show and later posed with the designer. She's only in town for a couple days, she told New York Magazine, before it's back to Texas to train for October's Figure Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular.
Nastia did drop something new at Fashion Week, according to the magazine. When asked for the millionth time whether she'd be trying for the 2012 Olympics, Liukin indicated she'd given herself a deadline to make up her mind.
"If I had to decide now, I'd probably say I'd give it a try," she grinned. "But around the end of the year I'll decide. I don't want to rush it."
