When Easter comes early in the year it seems like all crafters are scrambling to find and finish projects in time. One of the best holidays to craft for, Easter is filled with pretty pastels, chicks, eggs and bunnies all waiting for a creative touch. Whether you sew or paper craft the welcoming of Spring often starts with something hand made for the Easter holiday.
Here is a fun tutorial from A Spoonful of Sugar to make adorable mini fabric Easter basket bags using just wool felt, ribbon and basic sewing supplies. You can easily coordinate these baskets to fit your color scheme and then load them with goodies. The bags measure 5 1/2 by 1 1/4 inches but could easily be resized to fit larger treasures.
