What better way to share the love than mini banana splits? Grab one (or two!) and try out a variety of toppings. Perfect for birthday parties.
Chocolate (milk or dark)
Whipped cream and cherry as garnish
Cut bananas in 2 inch sections. Use a melon baller or spoon to hollow out the center of each section, leaving a compartment- make sure the bottom is kept intact! Freeze until the banana becomes firm, then dip bottom half in melted chocolate. While chocolate is still hot, press just the bottom of the section into chopped peanuts, and dip once more into melted chocolate to cover the nuts. Quickly roll bottom and sides in sprinkles, and let set. Fill hollowed out section with ice cream of choice, and top with whipped cream and a cherry!
