Keen Software has released a stress-test benchmark demo for its upcoming shooter Miner Wars, now available for download.
The non-interactive demo was released mainly to show off the engine and stress-test hardware and features four in-game animation sequences.
The file weighs in at 643 MB and can be had via Big Download. Miner Wars is currently set for release later this year, from the description:
Miner Wars is a 6DOF underground and space shooter played in a fully destructible environment and is a combination of single player story game and MMO. As a player, you operate an advanced mining ship in an open world asteroid belt area. You dig kilometers of tunnels, harvest the ore, travel the solar system, fight your enemies and discover mysterious alien secrets.
