Even though 4J Studios just released Title Update 12 and the first mash-up pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, the developer is already discussing TU13 as they mentioned via their Twitter account on Monday. While the recently released game update added new content to the game, Title Update 13 will focus on fixing bugs inside the block creation title.
Alternating updates between content additions and bug fixes has been a practice that 4J Studios has deployed for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft before and, if the past can be used as any form of indication, this means that gamers will likely see TU13 release with a faster turnaround time.
Title Update 12 was released just over a week ago and brought jungle biomes, ocelot mobs, and an increased vertical height limit to the game. Additionally, the last patch added support for mash-up packs which convert the console edition of Minecraft to have the look and feel of other popular titles. The first mash-up pack has now been revealed to have a Mass Effect theme.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is now available as either a digital download from Xbox Live Arcade or on retail shelves after the game received a physical retail disc release earlier this summer.
