Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition owners received a surprise Thursday as Microsoft released Title Update 9 for the popular Xbox LIVE Arcade title a day early. Console players can now take their first dive into The End.
TU9 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition adds stark otherworldly plane known as The End along with the Ender Dragon boss mob. 4J Studios has given that boss fight a few upgrades over the PC version of the game by changing the behavior of the Ender Dragon and adding cages around the Ender Crystals that regenerates the dragon's health. It will take a steady aim to destroy the crystals now.
Also added with this update are climbable vines. fire charges, item frames, wooden buttons, spawn eggs and nether brick slab plus slabs and stairs that can be built from sandstone and birch. Buckets and signs are now stackable as well.
4J Studios also added new HUD options to Minecraft including the ability to turn off the animated avatar as well as different sizes for the HUD in single and split-screen.
