Some updates were posted for the TU14 patch of “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.” According to a report from Kpop Starz on Feb. 10, a fan asked 4J Studios about the release date for the title update in the Xbox 360 port of “Minecraft.” The development team replied by admitting that they still have plenty to work on before the patch could be sent for certification testing. You can find the response below:
Still lots to do before TU14 is ready for Cert testing.
Before being made available for download, patches for Xbox 360 video games must be sent to Microsoft for additional testing in order to detect any bugs. This process usually takes at least several days.
Another fan also wondered about what changes will be made in the TU14 patch of “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.” 4J Studios disclosed that they won’t be announcing the modifications for the title update until it is sent to Microsoft for certification due to potential last-minute alterations. You can find some screens of “Minecraft” on Xbox 360 in the slideshow to the left of this article and the statement below:
We'll do that when we submit it to Cert testing, since things can change up to that point.
The previous “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition” patches added new contents along with fixing minor glitches that players may have encountered. 4J Studios also had to fix several launch issues with “Minecraft: PS3 Edition” before they could work on updating the Xbox 360 iteration. Along with the two current-generation consoles, the same development team is also responsible for porting “Minecraft” to the PS4, Vita and Xbox One.
